Well what forced me to buy this phone was the theft of my old SamsungC100 phone and I had decided that my next phone will have all the features that I need.
After one month extensive research and comparing many phones I had short listed two K700 and Nokia6600(reasonably priced).But K700 scored on all points except for no expandable memory(But enough to carry 6-8 songs) and ubiquitous presence of Nokia chargers.
Well here is my opinion after using it for two weeks now:-
My phone has the following loaded-
6 full Mp3 songs (done via. blue tooth)
30 photographs (10 at full resolution)
Many MP3 ring tones
These have consumed about 30MB of 41MB memory.
Opinion:
Camera Phone:
Excellent camera and has an option of changing the resolution. With the highest resolution you can take pictures clear enough to store as memory for lifetime. I have loaded many on my comp. (via blue tooth) and they show well on PC screen.
Night mode is good too and the flash (is a continuous light) is of good help.
Ringtones/MP3:
What I love is that I can keep MP3 ring tones with sound quality equivalent to digital music and the speakers are good too.
Memory: 41 MB is sufficient memory for a modest person like me.
Radio: The radio reception is excellent and with stereo sound be rest assured that the feel is of digital music.
Battery life:
Is OK .I charge it every two days after extensive usage of camera, FM and talk time.
File transfer via.Blue tooth:
Connects easily with Nokia and other phones and file transfer is easy. One interesting thing- All most all files transferred from nokia6600 play in K700 but not vice versa.
Other functions are common to any other mobile phone
The good part is I got it cheap at Rs.9K from Mumbai. With MP3, blue tooth, infrared, good camera and 41MB memory it is a steal.
Overall a VERY GOOD PHONE.
I am a happy and contended man.
