SEk700i ka TADKA with some SPICES of Nokia 6230

Sony Ericsson’s K700i is a handset which firmly wedges itself in between the Sony Ericsson T630 and Nokia 6230. It’s equipped with an excellent screen, which is backed up by a fully adequate digital camera, however it doesn’t quite live up to expectations in the audio playback department. Also, an internal memory of just 40 MB leaves something to be desired (namely, memory expansion), whilst a long list of advanced functions take their toll on battery life when used actively.

#K700 has 40mb mememory.

#Also, K700’s video quality is better than the 6230...

#K700’s video capability’s res goes up to 177x244 or something and is smootehr and not as compressed as 6230..

#K700’s screen res is much higer than the 6230.

#K700 supports 3d games like that of symbian and ngage...

#K700 has a better menu system (SE’s new User Interface is DAMN nice)

#K700 has a cute built in light at the camera side =)...

#K700’s IR and Bluetooth is better... I know people who’s 6230 is having problems with paring with some bluetooth devices....

#k700 has nice brush metal design...

#and all of you who are concern abuot the keypad, it’s a very clear plastic, which at the bottom has a metal looking finish paint so it actually looks fantastic... better in real life.

What’s positive:

>>Excellent screen

>>Decent camera (nothing great though)

>>Excellent mp3 player

>>FM radio.

>>The 3D tennis game is wonderfull.

What’s negative:

>>Short on memory and battery life---It sucks a lot of battery if u are using bluetooth and mp3 player.

>>41 mb of memory already seems to be small to me after loading in a few songs. (Note memory is not expandable)

K700i vs Nokia 6230

K700 beats the 6230 in everything except memory.. even that, k700 wins indirectly...

You pay more for the 6230 for memory.... at the same time less features... so you get 32+8mb on the 6230 right? If you want to upgrade to a larger memory, you have to throw away that 32.... and that’s money wasted.. and if you are thinkign that you can keep the 32mb to swap.... you’ll have to switch off the phone, open the cover, take out battery, take out card and so fort.. troublesome...

to add to it.. nokia’s express on covers... it starts creaking and gets loose after a while... so much for solid feel...
