Its been approx 16 mths I ve been using this phone, heres wat I think:-
The Sony Ericcson K750is 2-megapixel camera is hands-down the best I seen in a phone, the K750is camera boasts autofocus and macro focus for close-ups; a night mode; an self-timer; color effects such as black and white, negative, sepia & flour scent. White-balance settings; a 4X digital zoom; a time and date st picture frames; a rapid-fire burst mode; and a panorama mode that lets you line up a succession of shots. Taken together, these impressive features comes as close to that of a standalone camera as I seen in a phone. Its camera is the closest thing to "real" that I have seen on a phone.
You can groove to MP3s and watch videos with the K750is versatile media player, which lets you create playlists & even has an equalizer, complete with presets for bass, MegaBass, voice and treble boost & a user-defined mode. The players interface provides scrolling song info and a progress bar showing time elapsed. You can shuffle & repeat your music or minimize the player to listen to tunes while using the handsets other features.
It also has three games: Aero Mission 3D, PuzzleSlider & Super Real Tennis.
Theres also:
MusicDJ, which lets you create your own ring tones;
VideoDJ, for creating MMS-type messages from your video clips;
PhotoDJ, a photo editor for your snapshots.
Customization options on the Sony Ericcson K750i are excellent. In addition to the ability to pick your own menu themes, screensavers, start-up screen, and wallpaper, you can also assign specific ring tones and images to your contacts, as well as choose and edit ringer profiles such as meeting, in-car, outdoors, hands-free, home, and office-or you can create your own.
Sony Ericssons battery lift is upto the mark.
Keypad feels lil bit cramped( can be bad if u got big hands/fingers)- especially the 2 key, which has a cut out of the top of it in order to make room for the joystick. But other than feeling a bit tightly packed, the keys are robust & quite impressive.
The K750 has a fine contact system. Not only can you search through the list based on multiple characters( but you can store just about every conceivable data point possible in a contact record. Multiple numbers, email addresses, a birthday, a note. It can store upto 500 contacts. You can set separate voice tag be recorded for each number(ie. "GF cell" and "GF work"). If you prefer to make use of speed dials, those can also be setup in the contacts app.
My purchase price was approx 16 K but now its available for approx 8.5 k:):)
Overall, an excellent buy with loads n loads of features!
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
Cheers!
