Fantabulous Phone

After using the T630, I was a lil wary of going in for another SE phone, but after using a friend’s phone for a couple of days, I was convinced that the company has actually come up with a phone worth the 13K I paid for it.

Bought this phone in June when it was for 13, 000/- but now the price has been reduced to 9900/-, which is a steal for a phone with the features it has. The extendable memory slot is conveniently located outsidde the phone, making it much easier to upgrade (or downgrade) and does not entail opening the back cover, taking the battery out and reseting the phone’s internal stuff...

The sound quality is just fabulous and the hands free kit is effective, albeit a lil uncomfortable with the right side ear bud being too short on the leash with the mouth piece. The playback capacity of the phone also leaves nothing else to be desired as it can play back WAV & MP3 formats with equal ease.

For the gaming freaks and buffs, this phone has a range of software which can be downloaded from the numerous websites offering free stuff using the GPRS or you can download the stuff on your PC and tranfer it to the phone using the data cable provided with the phone or use Blutooth to do the transfer.

Another feature which adds a feather in the phone’s cap is its 2 mega pixel auto focus camera, which gives amazing results. The built in Flash is also very powerful and imparts an almost natural light feel to the photographs. The effects and the frames which can be used to click various photographs also comes in handy when you are in a creative or funny mood.

The sleek elegant design just begs you to pick it up. And for a price as low as 9900/-, its well worth the money spent.

The only drawback, seen in almost all Sony Ericsson phones is the way you charge the phone. The clip, which holds the charging pin in contact with the plates can break if not handled carefully. A insertable pin/jack combo (a-la- Nokia) would take care of the problem in a jiffy

All said and done, the phone is amazing and a wonderful piece of technology with all the features anyone can want in a mobile phone.
