I’d like to tell u one of the worst experiences of my lifetime after buying a sony ericsson k 810 I mobile phone. I was using a samsung c 100 for the past 5 years without any problem.{ I havnt visited the service centre not even once after buying it.} I decided to upgrade my mobile. So after a lot of research and reading so many reviews I finally decided to go for a se k810 i.
I bought it from sony showroom in trivandrum on april 15. Exactly 3 months after that headache started. The phone started hanging while talking. Within 3 more days the speaker didnt work. I then gave the phone to the service centre in trivandrum. I got back the phone after speaker replacement only after 1 week. I was shocked to see all the data in my phone were erased. Nobody told me that I shud take a backup since they r upgrading the software. More than 600 contact nos. Have been lost. I am still not out of the shock. The irony is even after that ordeal the phone was still hanging at times. Then they said they will format my memory card and the problem wont recur. They said its bcos of virus. I had downloaded only 2 songs from my friend. Now I hav erased everything from the phone and now its like a new phone only. Even now the phone hangs.
I swear I will never buy any se mobile phone in my lifetime . I am not telling this out of my personal suffering alone. If u want to see the quality of se mobile phones just visit the sony mobile service centre in trivandrum and see the sufferings and agony of hundreds of customers flocking to the centre daily. My humble suggestion is think 1000 times bfore buying any se mobile phone
