I have this phone for about 7 months now, and I love it. For those who are not used to touch screen and the rocker keys may find it difficult to use it for a first few days, but believe me u will learn it quickly than u could have ever imagined.
The Phone comes with lot of options in built like business card scanner, 3.2 MP camera with auto focus + VGA camera for Video Calls, music player, video player, Online media player, remember it is a business phone so u get all the options a business phone must have like EMAIL (IMAP, POP, HTML), PDF reader, Office files reader, organiser, VPN, sync, blackberry connect, Push Email etc....
You also get a different connectivity options, Blue tooth, USB, Infrared, WIFI B Standard as well as well as support GPRS and 3G technology. Unfortunatly no EDGE. Handsfree u receive with the pack is not as good as the phone. Seems like a hadfree u get for a normal basic phone.
One other disadvantage is there is not a lot of third party software that works with the UIQ 3 platform, but u dont need any unless u are looking for some special application other than a normal day to day need. This phone support GPS but u need a additional GPS receiver that comes as an accessory.
But the phone supports most of the JAVA applications and GAMES. WIFI works perfect and speed is good. Almost forgot to tell u something, the phone comes with an complete user manual but you dont need it any time, as each application in the phone has a on phone help which will let u know why the option is and how to use it making ur learning phase easier.
The phone comes with somewhere around 150 MB of internnal memory and support for 4 GB ext memory, (1 GB card included) the 128 MB RAM is good enough to handle 5-8 application running side by side. i.e. there is no need to close an application to open another. The touch screen is really sensitive and u get a additional spare stylus if in case u lose one. Conclusion: Business with pleasure.
