After few days use, my observation follows:-
As I said before value for money-
Reception & other features are ok. Most often when you start the phone the signal power shows less but with in seconds it recovers to its full strength. It never affects the usage of the phone or any disturbance to the reception. So I assume that it is just a bug in the display, but it never affects you anyway.
In the basements bad signal power (may be same for all phones)
THE MAIN BUT A SIMPLE DISADVANTAGE IS THE DEPOSITION OF DUST PARTICLES INSIDE THE LCD. Now I use a cover, though it slightly affects its cute appearance. But it is essential. Evenif, now there is 2-3 dust particles on my LDC. It is not much noticeable, even though the company could have rectify it simply using some beading inside, around the LCD panel.
All other things are working OK. Connection to computer & internet not yet tested. Good feature that you can record any sound & use it as Ringtone. The Keypress ringtone composer works almost similar to Nokia, with slight exceptions. Sothat you can compose almost any songs/tones & use it as ring tone.

I bought T230 handset one month before, in Riyadh, Saudi. It cost Apprx 4300 INRS. It is a good & small & cute handset with color LCD, Polyphonic sounds, internet, GPRS, WAP, MMS, Sound recording, Provion for camera, games, Specific rings tones & photos for specific caller etc. 1MB shared memory for music, picture, games & messages.
Evenif I didn’t upload any new items sofar, I could find only 565kb vacant. This may be because some of the pre-loaded stuffs already comsumes some of the space.
I am using it in Riyadh City. Sofar no problem for signal except slight disturbance in underground building (that is common to most of the brands). Battery stand by is Approx 3 days with an average use of 2-5 minitus use per day. Rapidly re-charges the battery within 1-2 hours. Ringing volume could be slightly loud, but not too weak. Sound is clear but the sound of the ear piece could be some more loud, but not too bad to hear. But these are not limitation comparing a good color phone within an economic range. Can use a data cable or mms or wap to upload picture/ringtones/music into the phone from a PC (only upload not download to PC). But it is very hard to find out a suitable data cable from the accessory shop. They says both USB & serial cable works.
As I didn’t get an USB cable I tried a serial cable that I got from the shop. Actually it was marked for another model & has no driver cd. May be because, it didn’t work. I am still searching for a cable. I found a serial cable with driver cd in Bazee.com, but is costly around 500INR. It was better SE supply a compatable PC cable with the kit. To sum up it is a good stuff for your money. This is only after 1 month’s use. I will come back to say more after few months.
