This is my first review on any product here. Recently I bought a SE T-230 model. I’m briefly chalking down my experience about it.
Pros :
Its a good thing to own as compared to other models. Its pretty cheap considering the rich feature set that it has. It costs around Rs. 7, 850 in Maharashtra and it is even cheaper in some other parts of India.
Sony has got a good brand name. Their servicing is good and this handset comes with 1 yr warranty.
It has a 4096 color display, good messaging support, cool polyphonic ring tones and lots of other features. It looks sleek and cool.
The reception seems to be ok and with my airtel connection I didnt face much problem yet. It has got an MCA-30 instaCam accessory (from Sony) which I love to use. With 4096 color support, the cam snaps and games look cool too.
It has got a good vibrating alert and optimized charging which is beneficial. The new V-Rally game is an enriching experience for game lovers.
Cons :
I would say that the set gets hot and become a cause of little discomfort if you talk for a long.
The key pad is not also as user friendly as some of the nokia handsets.
I also doubt about its durability. May be this one is not as strong n stud as some of the nokia models.
Keeping all these pros and cons in mind, I would suggest you to go for it, if you want a good handset for your under 10K budget. Do also check out the SE MCA-30 cam. Its pretty cool. But if you are looking for a top end 65k display mobile with all those luxuries enhanced, nokia or samsung would be a better option.
