I thought I should definitely have a cell phone since almost everyone in my coll had one but not me. I had been browsing the net for more than 2 months on a great phone and only 4 phones had these basic requirements and fitted my budget.

The 3100 had a good large display, a slim stylish design but I read from many reviews on the net that many people had large no. of problems with this set and also it was the costliest among the 4. the memory was also very less - besides I didn’t have a fashion for nokias since everyone has a nokia and I too dint want to be a part of it.
Next the C100 had an ever slimmer and sexy design but had a tiny screen inspite of the 128x128 res. it doesnt support adding words to t9. u can’t send mms. but it had ir, the only one among the 4. the length was quite big - ok so I rejected it too.
The C350 was the worse with a small screen and the smallest resolution around 80x65 something and had the worst interface with freq hangups. Besides u cant trust motorola batteries bcoz my friend’s brand new motorola battery comes only for 30 mins standby time on full charge. So I rejected this too
Finally the T230 it had all the features I required but many reviews said that key response is very poor and keys are too small. Yah, if u want a small phone u had to sacrifice something. I had experience completely no hangups or even errors with the phone and key repsonse is quite good.
The 5 way keypad is quite easy to use 4 my fingers, especially if u have small nails. I can say even slightly better than 3100 and pricewise I bought it for Rs.5850 and the USB cable for Rs.1300. Thats quite ok 4 me.
I have so far experienced absolutely no problems at all. Thats all I can say. I donno abt the battery bcoz I have been having it for only 2days. Anyway users can mail me if they want to know anything more.
