Hi, I had got the Sony Ericsson T 310 at a good price of about Rs 8750/- with bill(Chennai). I have been using it since September and here are my views Good Price Triband/Infra Red/ Polyphonic/ WAP/ Color all this for a good nominal price. If I had to go for a NOKIA with all the above features I will have to pay atleast 12000/- without bill. Infra Red Really helpful if your going to connect with other mobiles. Believe me its useful if you would like to connect to another mobile for pictures, games, poly sound, themes, exchanging cards etc. PolyPhonic It is really good. The only negative point is that if you set your mobile to a polyphonic tune, it is likely you will miss a call unless you have the vibrator on. Else the normal ringtones can wake the whole house up. WAP What is the use of buying this mobile if you cannot experience the internet on your mobile? I had bought a HUTCH card for this and I could download games, pictures, sounds, from a couple of WAP sites. I could do a lot more except that some things does not come cheap on WAP Games Comes with 3 games but I have downloaded 3 more Except for TONY HAWKS PRO SKATER which I have not played yet all the other game can keep you occupied. Golf is pretty good if you get the hang of it Calendar Mine luckily has one. I think the earlier version of T310 did not have this feature. Can Set Reminders, Notes, Tasks etc. If you have to call someone on a appointed time you could set it and the mobile dials away at the appropriate time. MMS/EMS/Text : Messaging MMS : it will be useful once your friend upgrade their models and again this feature is operator dependant. T9 Text input is real helpful Other features : Speed Dial, Assigning Ringtones Pictures to the Calling Party, Answering a Second Call while holding onto one, Fixed Number Dialing, Email, Chat, Themes, Recorder, Stopwatch, Timer , Alarm, Screensaver, Profiles etc...lot more I have not tried ...maybe you guys could feed me with some information The charging is real fast , but the only downside is the socket where you have to clamp your charging adapter is clumsy. I have a problem while making the connector sit in place. The joystick is very useful but your fingers will be sore after constant usage. The buttons are small and sometimes painful. This is where Nokia Human Technology is useful. Voice clarity is real good. In a nutshell this is a mini Palm Digital Assistant with a mobile touch. Great value for money.
