Hi, I am using T610 for the past 8 months. I never got any problems. Its perfectly working.
The best part is its tough design makes it more reliable. In my case I met with a bike accident sometime back, with this phone in my shirt pocket. Its a pretty bad accident for me, myself got hit badly all over the body, bike got damaged, but the mobile which was thrown over survived with few scratches and it started working after a switch off and on.
The display is superb, but seeing the latest LG/Samsung models it slightly lacks but definetly superior than Nokia models. The camera is not meant to use full-flegedly for capturing. Its just for namesake.
Summing up, the features
network connectivity is wonderfull- bluetooth and infrared is flawless. -
ringtones- if u love hearing polyphonic ringtones in its best, T610(or other similar models in SonyEriccson) are the only choice. I have tried the same ring tone in Nokia 6610/6600 and even in some latest nokia models. The sound is pathetic in Nokia. In other models(LG/samsung) u cant even even think about this. The difference starts right from getting good ringtones. There are sights like t610.net providing 1000s of polyphonic ringtones exlusively for t610(SonyEriccson models). Download to a bluetooth/IR enabled PC/Laptop, then connect t610 and u would get it.
memory - is suficient for normal use. but when u compare with Nokia or other models coming with 32/34 MB it lacks. Again I dont think u need that much memory in a mobile. Its a Mobile, if u want to store MP3 songs buy a iPOD.
ease of use - The feature organisation is better than Nokia. It cant be better than this. The joystick is reliable. Calendar, Alarm, reminders are wonderfull. One particular feature I want to mention is Recursive alarm. U have to set once- that to it provides a option of chosinig the days in a week u want alarm. office goers can set only on week days and leave the sat/sun. My t610 will wake me up only on mon-fri and not on sat or sun. Its a superb feature.
Overall its a nice phone I would recommend
