The Best choice in it's prime

T610, was SE’s first attempt in bringing forward a cell phone which would set a standard, and turn the cell phone business 180 degrees.

I bought my T610 in 2003, and am still a proud owner of this beauty. That was the time when Bluetooth, Camera phones , Polyphonic ringtones were buzzing!!!.. Anybody anywhere, would inquire for these features in a cell phone first.

Now features in the phone that helped me make up my mind..

--> Camera - Images can be taken in two resolutions (288x352, 120x160); night mode is also available. Yes, a very decent camera, when used in a well lit environment.

--> Well spaced keys - The keypad is another thing which one would fall in love with.. Its well spaced and need no time to adjust.

--> Adequate screen size - Screen size is not too big , and neither to small. When compared to today’s smart phones, which are equipped with large screens, this wonder has just the right size. However, the screen is not very visible under bright light.

--> Composer (Music DJ) - A cool feature added by SE, which allows users to make their own ringtones with existing beats and sounds avalaible in the Music DJ. One of the features I just cant stop using.

--> Connectivity - The phone is Bluetooth and InfraRed enabled.

Last but not the least, LOOOKS --- The phone’s slender & sophisticated looks finally gave it a head-start in it’s prime time... It fits perfectly well and feels great when used.

No hassles.... the phone despite its shortcomings when compared to today’s featuresque cell phones.. is a worth buy, when standard features and money is one’s major concern.

And.. ya... forgot to mention G-shock!! --- yup, another thing I would keep in mind before buying a cell phone.. how sturdy it is? ... Well, this beauty has gone through a lot.. but no major concerns... just wish it’s Sound Reception was much better!
