Title : SE T610 professional review.
Review : p.s. this is my personal review. I have written this review because I have used this phone for sometimes. IT IS NOT LIFTED FROM ANY OTHER SITE!
T610 introduction: If you would have been in any other part of the world other than India you would have recognized this cell at once. sonyericsson designated this as their ’’hero’’ product of the year.But the model did not enjoy the same success in India. The sole reason was some serious initial problems in earlier models and lack of effective advertising.... however now that the phone has been cured, it is ready to take the battle to nokia!!!! let us see how!!!
design: probably the strongest reason to buy this phone. You should check out the phone in reality as the pictures do not do it full justice... elegant, modern, pleasing and a very mature discerning design.... will go well with your business suit or sports jacket.... the use of aluminium and contrasting black is simply amazing while the small se logo at the back are some small but neat touches..... another thing which probably matters the most.... THIS PHONE 4 all of its features is as SMALL as AN 8250!!!!!
display: 65k stn 128*160 If you have used a samsung colour phone before you will probably hate the display(espacially the banding at the edges) however If you are coming from nokia or siemens or pan gd68 you will love the big display.... the display is a bit difficult to see in direct sunlight but then seeing the features this should be forgiven..
camera: many of you out there may be buying this phone for this feature but alas! this is its weakest feature!! BUT the camera is still a lot better than a 7250!! IF you are the kind of person who uses a camera phone as a party toy the you can buy it without hesistation.. but if you want to use it to upload images to your computer they may appear a little bluish and out of focus.. p.s. when viewed on the main display the photos look very good...also the phone screen acts very well as a viewfinder......... thus 4 majoritry of you out there it is a brilliant phone!!!!!!
reception and battery life: reception is good but not at the excellent levels of nokia 40 series phone... battery life is about 2 days...
features: there are so many that it will be a bit difficult to tell about all of them...Bluetooth, infrared, FULL mms, polyphonic sounds, java games, mophun games, picture caller id, sms storage, camera effects, wap 2.0 over gprs, ......................... this little wonder has everything YOU NEED.... I will tell about some.... polyphony: THIS particular feature has got a lot of INDIANs hooked... se T610 has a very good 32 polyphony sounds... THe best thing here is that you can directly beam a midi file to use it as ringtone in your t610!!!! I mean it is amazing....you can get a whole song as ringtone....as if this is not enough you can record any voice and use it as a ringtone...simply fun!!!!! games: in the hongkong version this phone ships with 6 games.... believe me it is the best phone 4 gaming.... mophun games are similar to java games but are much more smooth .....the tactile keypad also contributes to the overall feeling...
. pic call id: most of you know about this...you can take a pic of your friend and then attach it to his phone no. so that when he calls you can see his picture... the good thing here is that the image will occupy wholescreen unlike nokia....
so that pretty much sums it up all.. if you can afford ...buy a bluetooth headset alon
g with it ...it looks very cool...if you are worried about poor disply then you can consider the upcoming Z600 which has the same features but a better display.... presently this handset is avilable for Rs. 15000 with bill and warranty.. believe me...never again would you get such a phone at such a price but it!! ps: BE SURE TO BUY A SE T610 WITH A NEW MANUFACTURING DATE!! THE OLD VERSIONS HAVE a LOT OF RECEPTION PROBLEMS!! if any one needs anything 4 thier phones just pm me or post in the comments section...I will anser all your queries regarding this phone....
