Lovable T68i

This phone is not the newest thing out there in the market. I got this one last week to replace my Ericsson T39. I had used my T39 for about one and a half years and wanted to get something different and more colorful without sacrificing all the features of my earlier phone.

I think this is one of the cutest little phones in the market today. I got the blue/white color and my wife nearly stole the phone for about two days.

I will not go much into exact statistical details of the phone; This is quite a small phone about the size of the Nokia 8250 types.

I use a lot of GPRS / Bluetooth and my first choice for this goes to Sonyericsson.

GPRS can really be a boon if you can use it wisely. One can remain connected to the internet the whole day without paying anything. GPRS charges are applicable only for data received or sent. This can be very useful for using it on MSN messenger other chat based programs which are not so bandwidth hungry

I have tried many other phones for this but Sonyericsson takes the cake. I can say that this phone offers one of the best and most compatible Bluetooth connections today. I have paired this phone with my desktop, my PDA, my Bluetooth handsfree ( Jabra ). I will give it a 5/5 and this being my primary reason to purchase T68i. Other than Bluetooth, it also features an infrared port for data transfers.

I was really disappointed with the color display. The pictures which I transferred to the phone turned out to be faded and too grey. I had to saturate the contrast on the pictures before sending them to the mobile to get the correct color. . You can also connect a small camera to this phone, I have no intention to invest on it looking at the poor quality of display.

The phone includes WAP browser, MMS messages / SMS / email and all standard features offered by a modern phone. Other than this, it offers voice recording, conversation recording and playback, ringtone composer, Draw a picture ( I don’t know how this works but it may be helpful to some if I mentioned it )

You can even connect a small camera to his phone, I have not invested on that and do not intend to do soo.

This phone does not offer polyphonic ringtones. If you are into polyphonic ringtones, please don’t buy this phone.

I will recommend this phone because this phone is more feature packed and with nearly half the price for any other brand phone in this same range.

Price about US$ 200 ( Rs 10, 000 )
