W200i is the entry level model of the "W" series from SE. Amazingly this phone has got plenty of good features when compared to other basic model phones from Nokia.
The first thing I liked about this phone is its "looks", I should say its a very sleek and handy phone, packed with some good features.
1: This phone is a Triband phone, whereas many of the basic models form Nokia are only Dual band phones.
2: Its got 27 MB of internal memory plus a minimum of 128MB memory card, which comes with the phone, which means you can store atleast 30-40 songs at a time.
Light weight - it weighs 85 gms as per SE website, but feels lighter than that
Infrared connectivity.
Walkman+ FM Radio. Though the loudspeakers aren’t great, the audio output quality and the headphones are outstanding.
MMS.
Voice/Sound recorder
Battery life. I charge it once in 3 days only(please note that its a good idea to drain the battery as much as you can before charging, it gives extra life to the battery)
Polyphonic ring tones, animated wall papers, pleasant themes.
The phone software is fast and the menus are easy to use.
Data cable: W200i comes with a datacable, helps you to connect to USB to transfer the contents from a PC to phone, vice versa. The good news is that the battery will charge automatically while the transfer is happening, So even if you dont have your charger, you can use the data cable. But the charging may not be as fast as using the regular charger.
Note:
The camera in this phone is very ordinary. Please donot buy this phone if you are very particular about the camera.
Key pads are not too bad, but you need bit of practice before getting used to it.
Overall Im very happy with the performace of W200i and I would recommend this product to those, who are looking for "Better" basic model phone.
