If you are looking for a music phone on a tight budget, just close your eyes and go for this phone! Youll be pretty much blown away by the rich and loud sound quality through the earphones. With the speaker on, the sound is good but certainly not as loud and rich as via the given earphones. This is a great music phone for long journeys.
The phone comes equipped with a 0.3 VGA camera, and if youre thinking that the camera would be equally good, let me tell you the sorry truth: its pathetic! Its so pathetic that youd probably never use it anyway.
Battery life is pretty much average, so dont expect much. This lacks bluetooth by the way so dont dream of transferring music via bluetooth.
What I REALLY do not like about this phone is its navigation! Its gonna take you weeks getting used to this phones absurd menu buttons. Not to mention the equally not-so-great joystick at the centre(which some users have reported breaks down after a few years) which makes navigating more of a struggle, especially if you are used to Nokia phones. I really wonder what caught up Sony to come out with such weird navigation! I bought it for my mother but she frequently ended up pushing the wrong buttons and doing the wrong stuff she did not intend to, like deleting contacts!
Other than this, the phone performs pretty well. Reception is clear and you can clearly hear your caller, even in noisy environments, thanks to the sound quality.
BUT.the sound quality through the earphones is AWESOME.even my Sandisk Sansa MP3 player with Panasonic headphonees feels ashamed before it:)
Hope this helps.
