i purchsed this phone last week!
it is one great phone to have, if you wishes to listen music while on move or idle!
by this time, everyone on earth might be aware of its features and prowess!
i won’t repeat the same things again.
i’ll just try to give my opinion of all the features it has!
- Walkman -::- it is really wonderful to have a phone with this much of clarity! I have used SE K508i too and also K750i, but this walkman series is just too good! just make sure that MP3s are not compressed much and leave rest on this phone! ur songs will sound much better than they are heard on PC compatible 2.1 speaker systems!!
- 2MP Cam -::- this cam is a welcome change for me after K508i. although K750i is also at par, but this seems better, might be its only me, coz I spent money on this! lol...
pics are crisp and clear, not much of snow in low-light conditions, zoom is okay since it is digital zoom nothing much can be expected. Videos are also nice with clear reproduction of colours and hues! sound capturing is superb!
- Video DJ and Music DJ -::- these 2 new add-ons make one to become a Director and say "ACTION" ..."CUT"...!!! very nice feature.
- Flight Mode -::- this one comes real handy for frequent flyers who boards plane at every drop of hat! and everyone knows abt the in-flight entertainment on our low-cost carriers! this walkman phone comes handy for such people!
- LED Light -::- although it can act as a flash...but certainly is not a flash or its alternative! one negative point...no flash. but one can use it as per his requirements...just scratch ur head! ;)
plus regular SE features...all seems good enough to be labelled as "User-Friendly" !!!
-Accessories, other than standard things available in every phone -::-
Earplugs -::- superb clarity! fun to plug them in ear! it cuts outside noise completely!!
Covers for earplugs -::- these are spares I guess...
USB Cable -::- no need to mention its use as everybody knows it!
256MB card -::- give enough storage space for newbies!
MS Adapter -::- adaptor for memory stick.
Conclusion -::-
At a price of INR12.5K with bill and waranty, it sure is a VFM phone!
lot many phones are avilable in this budget, but this seemed as the best option!
if you are stopping urself for some strange reason to go for this phone, better recheck urself! thsi phone will keep u happy for a good long time to come!
Sony Ericsson phones rocks...and Walkman series, much more so!
