I reviewed many cell phones prior to buying the Sony Ericsson W800i.
Factors were availability of Multi-band GSM Phone, Music, Camera and Internet which this Sony Ericsson fulfilled. Of course there were many such Phones from Ericsson itself and other competitors. Sony’s alternative in this range was W750i and W810i. 810i lost out due to it not having the joystick, and has a key pad which is not so good and also more expensive. 750i since it was a year old model though much cheaper. Both 810 and 750 were black in color which was more businessness like.
The downside was the Orange color band which goes well with the younger generation. Also the headphones are required for Radio operation since the antenna is in the headphones.
Nokia had a few models, like N70, but less RAM and also the memory stick had less memory. Nokia phones have larger screen and superior Camera Picture. Nokia phones are also more appropriate size for business but heavier.
