Guys, I had W800i -- and I enjoyed it when it worked. But: Within an hour of buying it, there were malfunctions. After three weeks of inconvenience, follow-up and severe tension I received a sealed replacement piece. But even the replacement piece gave me problems within months.
My W800i had been unusable for 4 of 16 months! There were in addition many days when it was with me, but not working properly. This caused major pain and difficulties. Appointments that I entered in the mobile’s calendar were lost every time I had to give the phone for servicing. I also underwent great tension trying to recover it from various authorised servicing centres!
I Asked them for a refund, but they said no. And all this while, they still had my set!Then, after I threatened to take them to the consumer court, SONY ERICSSON offered me a 2nd replacement set: but by then I had purchased a new [NOKIA!] phone, and so a replacement was pointless. I demanded a refund, but there’s been no response.And they dont give a damn! Because this is India, and they think they can get away with it.
