This is my 3rd phone in past five years of mobile phone usage and I do a lot of research before I decide on the phone to buy. My first phone was a motorola, followed by an LG handset and I used both of them extensively for over 2 years each. The LG set started giving me problems with the keypad and the battery so I started considering my new purchase.
I wanted to for Sony ericsson but didn’t wish to spend much money. Thus I was looking for a value for money deal. I was actually thinking of buying a Z550i or a K750i, but my job took me to UK and stumbled on deal and almost made an impulse purchase of W810i.
I have been using this phone for more than 3 months now and not a single day have passed when I admire my decision. Some of the Pros worth mentioning:
Extremely user friendly.
Fast and bug free (my prime reason of never considering a Nokia)
Amazing battery backup. With normal usage it lasts for 4-5 days (My LG used to give me half a day backup... ofcourse after 2 years of usage)
Amazing sound quality (W series rocks!!)
Good quality headset (much better than the ones bundled with an iPOD)
Good flashlight (this may sound ridiculous.. but it does come handy in emergency)
Clear Display
Cons:
No Camera cover.
I am still not managed to get good shots from camera and found the camera on N72 much better.
To conclude I am completely satisfied with this Phone and is recommended to all. I was initially considering purchase of good MP3 player but have now decided to put in bigger capacity memory card in this.
