I have bought a W850i few months ago, it has won me over in this short time. Feature-wise it is complete, extremely high quality walkman features, very nice camera, excellent connectivity features, 1 Gb memory.
The walkman feature present in this series is the topmost appreciatable feature. Once you get this mobile, there is no looking back.
The UI is simply great. The packages themes are very cool, they end up confusing the user as to which one can be set because all look so great we can keep on navigating just to enjoy them.
Having a 1GB card allows me to keep hundreds of songs.... and to add to that we can store movies.... its like carrying a mini laptop with u. u can browse, listen to music, watch movies and the basic - talk to the close ones...
The best accessory coming with the mobile is the soundproof handsfree. It allows one to enjoy the musc at the best qualiy sound without having to listen to the other various sounds produced by vehicles, machines etc..... The ear plugs are so soft, you do not feel any pain in having the ear phones in your ear..... unlike the pain caused by the handsfree produced and given by other handset providers....
Sony ericsson always has an edge in cameras over Nokia I feel, and plus the layout is such that you feel that you actually have a digital camera in your hand. You should actually have a look at the pixel display.... It is unbeatable...... Moreover u can transfer the photos to the PC/ laptop within a matter of seconds...
The slider shows the ultimate professionalism of the mobile. Nokia seems to be copying a lot now a days..... Then introduced fe XX00 series (copy cat model of this one). But the only thing where they got close to this mobile is sound. No where else....
Battery life seems to be very good - I happen to charge only once in 2 days.... This is after listening to songs for a minimum of 18 hrs in those 48 hrs other than talking for about another 16 hrs..
I would like to say only one thing at the end.....
When you can get:
A Digicam
A walkman
Browsing facility
A small screen theatre
A small HDD of upto 4 GB...
Most importantly in a sleek handset......
all this or a good price then why to waste money on all the above things differently...
Intelligent people need just a small hint.... Rest I cant help u...
