I am old fan of se and was planning to buy x1 from day 1 of launch. I purchased x1 with gr8 expectations and enthusiasm but everything just washed away in a week..
Pros:
(1) big stylish screen and keypad
(2) windows operating
(3) clear sound
(4)status symbol!!!
Cons:
(1) very poor battery life you have to charge it daily.
(2) heavy weight
(3) temperature increases on talking and sharing
(4) very small fonts in start menu even with max font size option person with near vision space its a nightmare.
(5) very small number and name display when someone calls u.
(6) when the phone goes in to standby mode 2 out of 10 times it didn’t came back to normal state and the screen remained black!!!! Even the se service centre had no solution.
(7) back cover of black coloured x1 gets scratches phone started looking old in 2 days!!!!
(8) sms is in conversation mode difficult to find, organise and forward sms.
(9) ringer is weak even at highest volume u cant hear ring in trousers pocket.
(10) panels are useless and west of time.
(11) illumination option is ok...you have to remember different colors of light and their meaning like silver blinking means missed call....
(12) poor signal reception never works in basements.
Tired from all these i sold it within week just read any review on net on xperia and you will find the problems.....rumours are that s and e are separating because of failure of xperia...
