I got this piece of junk just 3 months back. I wanted to go in for a flip phone as I thought the looks were classy and would make me stand out from the rest. I had in mind Samsung X200 , Nokia Flip (the one that costs Rs 4000 odd), Sony Ericsson. I had almost made up my mind on Samsung. My priorities were functionality, Budget and a bit of style.The dealer had some wonderful expalantions, he dsaid Nokia is not known for flip models and it was not moving so I straight away rejected that. Between these 2 he said that I should go in for ericcson bcos Samsung undercuts the price and loads in lots of features with poor quality materials. He assured me that I would get a sense of ownership with sony ericsson phones.But right from day 1 this piece of junk is giving me troubles. POOR SIGNAL RECEPTIVITY, LOW RING TONES, DISPLAY GOING BLANK, LOW INCOMING AND OUTGOING VOICE QUALITY.
I had corrected the display twice in Chennai’s authorized service centre. But the very next day, the display went blank. Finally, I blasted these guys and got a replacement from Sony ericsson itself. Guess What, the same problems mentioned above are surfacing. I have lost my peace of mind .Considering I have used Nokia, Samsung, Moto ..I will never recommend Sony ericsson to anyone.Also guys, be very careful particularly with flip models as it is beset with problems as I am told that the circuitry is sandwiched between the base and the front.Everytime u use it there is wear and tear of the circuits. Go in for a normal one .I want to exchange this for a valuable NOKIA. I sadly remember the saying a bike has to be YAM RX 100 and a phone should be a NOKIA!!
