this is my third phone. the first one being a nokia 2300, the second being another nokia, this time a 6600. And now, the third one. a sony ericsson Z530i. I had my own doubts when I went to buy a phone, this time around. the dealer recommended this phone saying that it is the latest model from sony ericsson n my sis is having a nightmare with a sony ericsson j200i. I had my own doubts anout this phone. but still I made a buy. I really dunno, why? probably my instincts said so. I thought of a motorola phone this time. probably a l7 or motorazr v3i. rather, I chose this one. now, I dont regret it. sony ericsson has rectified its neva ending battery problem in this phone. the standby time is about 2 - 3 days. thts really cool. however, u cant expect a gr8 clarity from the camera. this is where the phone fails. the camera is bad. the picture luks clear before shooting, but once shot, it slightly gets distorted. this is probably a major drawback of this phone. the sound clarity is amazing. its got a built in media player with equalizer. the bass in the sound is too gud 4 a metal freak like me. another drawback is the expensive memory card. it supports a M2 flash card whose cost for a 512 MB card is around Rs. 2250. this is too much for a memory card. the internal memory is quite useful with 26 MB internal memory and a seperate slot for 1000 contcts with their complete business card contenets like, address, webpage, email address, phone number, fax number, designation and so on.
