Thinking Sony is a good brand and always comes with trusted product I purchased this external hard disk. With its 2.5 inch form factor and 1 TB of storage, it was quite good experience. After few months I started experiencing some heating issues after heavy use like live using for long time or heavy file transfer. Also it slowed down in performance to much considerable level. Actually with its good build and performance aspect, it wasn’t expected to get such issues.
Since it was under the warranty period, I got servicing for free but again after few days I started experiencing the same issues. And in addition it started breaking the processes sometimes or just stopped the transfer meanwhile. So this was even more terrible this time since I couldn’t get any free service and even after the paid service it wasn’t as good as it was before and there were really some sluggish performances that made me quite upset with it since all this was really very unexpected from such a good company.
Hence if you are looking for external hard disk even with the same price range, there are better options so go for them instead.
