I purchased these Sony HD sg5 portable harddisk drive from amazon and I am very dissapointed with the product the data transfer of the harddisk is very slow and after a couple of months I was faceing performance issue with the harddisk.
The data transfer would stop in between or show incorrect files in it and even sometimes the data in it gets deleted which is very inconvint to use.
The device is not at all safe it is not safe at all to keep important document in it as it gets deleted more often.
The style and design is pretty good the device is very slim and it is very helpful when traveling it does not take much space in your bag.
Though it has got a 500gb harddisk the major issue is that the data sometimes get’deleted.
So these is not a good deal for the people who need a secure device to store their important files.
I would not recommand you to get these harddisk because if many performance issue.
