The Esteemed Sound Machine

I will not tell you about the features available on this system, but would

suggest you to go to the following sony site to compare this product with other

sony Hi-fi

(https://sony.co.in/productcategory/ha%2Bhifi%2Bmini?site=hp_en_IN_i). I

found this Hi-Fi the best amongst its sisters! It has wonderful sound output. It

is a 5.1 channel with a very solid bass in Groove on and V-Groove mode. You have

a pre-set equalizer and even manual digital equalizer. Three band equalizer have

always been the best. Note: This is a very well-integrated Hi-Fi. People say it

is not a 5.1 channel because they don’t see any ugly separate subwoofer. The

fact is, it has two 13 cm woofers, and two 13cm sub-woofers. one in each of the

front speakers. You have the option of a separate subwoofer port anyway.

The

advantage of this integration is, the music is very very solid, a combined one

and not split like the ones with a separate woofer. If the woofer is separated,

the vocal is split and good only for seeing movies, but not as good for

listening to music. If you want more clarity for vocals, just use the equalizer

and turn off the V-Groove that nullifies the bass effect. It is a very

well-defined system. The woofers are marvellous, and even at 20% of volume gives

a solid bang, provided you know how to operate it. This can play a wide-variety

of CDs, including Div-X & data cds. The 3-cd stranger has markings for cd-1,

cd-2, cd-3 to eliminate confusion while loading the disc. And it is 5200W

PMPO.PMPO defines the maximum (the peak) amplitude it can achieve.

RMS defines

the average of all the amplitudes that it can achieve. PMPOs do not mis-lead

users, but you should look for how much rms a system gives. For this system, rms

of 470 w is very sufficient. Overall, a very wonderful and the best Hi-Fi I ever

possessed. You do not need to re-think or compromise it against any other brands

or sony’s own models (except the very Hi-End Home Theatre Systems, Note: I mean

Home Theatre and not Home Audio!) I played back the output of my 7.1 MP Kodak

camera on this DVD system (of course, the image I recorded in a cd-writer on my

computer) and I displayed it on my Sony Wega 2.0, the AZ (the Sony’s only

sharpest 21" TV). The output was amazing.

You could make out every hair on a

person’s skin on the TV, much much better than a computer’s ; well, the credit

should go to the tv and also to my camera to depict and capture every detail so

minutely!) You will never get so much clarity in DVD or TV anywhere. It was so

sharp and vivid! Please visit the site I listed here. You will get all the

information you need. For other brands, I do not know, but it is a sony and more

reliable. Disadvantage: Does not ’Fast’ Forward your cds! Advantage that I

really adore: Resuming playback of CDs from the point it stopped after power-cut

(even Panasonic has this feature, I suppose).
