SONY HT-IV300

I did all homework on HTiB and separate AVR systems of companies like Sony, JBL, Yamaha, onkyo, marantz, pioneer etc.

Other than sony all other companies I mentioned were specialist in HT system and they definitely better than this no doubt but budget wise bit stretchy.

After all the detailed specs and features I read of all the models of all companies and took the demo of few I ended my search with selection of this model ht iv300

I am very happy with its result.

Pros.

  1. Best price for dedicated AVR entry level system??????

  2. Can decode DTS HD MASTER ??when played video via usb which is a huge thing for such an entry level system as no above systems can do it with entry level models except sony????????

3.have Bluetooth, WI-FI and NFC??

4.media player software interface is very user friendly

5.4k passthrough to compete with current uhd advancement ??

6.bass is too much powerful ????which is good for bass lovers like me but few feel it bit overpowered so need to adjust the output for best result

  1. Can definitely shake ????the medium to large room( my room is approx 250 sq.ft and I coudnt test it with full volume yet that much powerful output it has)

  2. Satellite speakers are cute and good looking for your room??

Cons.

1.does not comes with any blue ray or dvd player???? ??cause its AVR system specially made for DTH system ??so use DTH HD channels for good punchy feel of sound

  1. As falsely mentioned in specs and on system that it supports Dolby TRUEHD but AVR player can’t decode DOLBY TRUEHD when played video directly via usb ????(So I redused one star?? in rating)but I connected my pc with it so its not a big problem cause pc can decode the audio so speakers has to play it only??
