Since last 2 year I was keen to have a LCD tv, atlast I got it. While purchasing lcd tv in 25 k range I have sorted out samsung, lg, panasonic but after seeing samsung 1 in my office I went 4 sony as it gives better sound quality, picture quality.
PICTURE QUALITY-undoubtly best among competitor.
But at time of delivery the factory settings need 2 b checked. It comes with loaded of feature of picture like MPEG NOISE REDUCTION, 3 PICTURE MODE(standard, normal, vivid)but it gives best xperience in vivid mode.
Picture can b given horizontal n vertical shift. It gives very good movie n gaming experience picture is being processed by bravia engine 3 processor it gives amazing quality. Colour temperature-thats give option 2 give blue, red tint 2 picture.Just like hue selection
SOUND QUALITY-it also comes in 3 mode
1.surround, 2.clear voice, 3.standard
it also has left right balance capability so that if ur tv is not placed at center of room d sound can b balanced
even sound output cna b just selected from tv only whether u want it from tv speaker or audio system
NOW REALLY CONFUSED WITH SO MANY PIC N SOUND OPTION NO NEED TO WORRY
just go 2 scene mode where u can select from1.Cinema, 2.Sports, 3.Photo., 4.Music, 5.Game, 6.Graphics,
7.General, 7.Autoit will automatically adjust pic n sound quality(isn’t it great)
CONNECTIVITY OPTION-most important part of lcd tv how many connection it has
1-2 HDMI ports(for hd dvd bluray players, hd set top box etc)
2-2 three point av input for ur dvds, set top boxes extra
3-1 five point av input(but u will hardly get any 5 point output devices in India)
4-1 cable input(but u will only use it as antennae connectivity for FM as cable wala is old days thing)
5-pc video input+audio input for ur pc
6-USB Port-yeah it has usb port 2
it plays almost all type photos, mp3 music, mp4 videos only
so u cant play dvd print(dvx, flv) through it
FM RADIO-it has fm playing option too
thats why I didnt went 4 EX 300 which has ambient sensor but no fm(ex 1is 1000 xtra 2)
u can store upto 30 channel and also play picture in background 4m ur usb or prestored wallpaper
including all sound feature
BRAVIA SYNC-YES it has sync option with sony dvd, ht system and new sony arc mobile(will b launching in 6-8 months in India)
So no loads of remote 2 carry. Twin picture-yes u can play 4m 2 different source(like hdmi n av input) together in screen pip(picture in picture)-it s also available. ZOOM-it comes with with 4 option, wide zoom, normal, full screen, zoom. LOOKS-HOW we can forget d most important part looks.
Its great looking even it looks astonishing in off condition(i hav uploaded its pic)
Now faltugiri things-i hav used it as digital picture frame during a function just connecting my mobile 2 it through usb port n showing family pic slide show isn’t it a great way of showoff(just kidding)
