It's small, but it's bigger than my Dinger!

This little gadget is simply brilliant. I bought this a few days ago and absolutely love it. It holds 120 minutes of good sounding music and doesn’t skip… period. There are no moving parts and this means that it isn’t prone to breaking. It is tiny and can be hidden anywhere on your body…and I mean anywhere. And it is light, so it you’re into running, you wont feel it flopping around like your beer gut.

Amount of music

120 minutes. That’s 2 hours. Much more than any CD will hold (however it’s not as good of quality). I have found that I can hold between 15-20 songs, depending on how long the songs are and the quality of the download. But this is long enough for any workout session or boring class you’re sitting through.

The fact that it doesn’t Skip

This is one of the greatest features. There are no moving parts! Why am I so excited? Because it doesn’t skip and battery consumption is minimal. I didn’t exactly beat the tiny unit on a brick to test it, but I did go for a jog and it was great. Another great thing about the no moving parts is that it wont break in less than a year because things that don’t move are much more reliable.

The Small Factor

Size does matter. When you’re talking about a portable music devices you want small. There is nothing smaller than this. It is the length of a normal pen and the diameter of a double A battery. I clip it to my belt and it stays without any movement. I don’t even know it is there. You can put in your pocket like it’s nothing.

Super Duper Light Weight

My god it is light. ¾ of the weight is because of the battery. It only uses one double A too so it is less than a few ounces. I don’t know the exact measurement but just take my word for it- you wont have a problem lifting it.

Accessories

It comes with a nifty neck strap that allows you to hang it underneath your shirt. It is of good quality and is fashionable. I personally don’t use it; I just clip it to my belt. It comes with software that is simple. There is no need to use the instruction manual for the software- just as long as you have a general competence in computers. It comes with the transfer cable that is also top notch.

Downloading time

Depending on your machine, but it works very very fast for me. I was pleasantly surprised to see that a 5-minute song takes 30 to 45 seconds. For all you impatient people, it is very good at giving you your music quickly.

Extras

This thing has different equalizer modes (4 to be exact). There are Jazz, Pop, Rock and off. I think this is a definite plus.

It has Repeat single song, repeat all the tracks, shuffle, hold, and a cool red display light.

What I wish it had...

I wish the volume went louder; it is a little weak that way. It is loud enough to block out most of the outside noise, but I wish it would rock my brain.

I also wish it had a way of showing you the song name and artist or something. All it says is the number of the track. This would be asking too much I guess.

Wrapping it Up

This thing is my newest gadget and is small, light, has lots of cool features, is easy to use, holds lots of music, and is great to use anytime. The fact that there are no moving parts and it doesn’t skip is simply fantastic. This thing makes me want to go to the gym or run more than usual.
