4 month use review compared with sennheiser cx 180

I am using this headphone for my moto g2 for about 4 months. Initially I had a sennheiser cx 180 street ii headphones. But I have lost it unfortunately. I should say that the person who took my lost headphone must be very lucky. Why I am saying this is that, frankly speaking, in my opinion I find sennheiser cx 180 ii better than sony MDR-XB30EX. Anyways let me list down pros and cons of this sony headphone and compare it with sennheiser.

Pros:

1.Superb build quality. Looks solid and robust.

2.Decent amount of external noise cancellation.

3.Nice and crisp bass.(Bass is given high priority here as this one

4.Audio quality is very clear.

5.comes with a 3.5mm audio jack so compatible with almost all modern smartphones.

6.Fits nicely in the ears. Comes with earbuds of different sizes so you can use them according to your ear sizes.

7.Tangle free wiring.

8.Availablity of sony services across India with one year warranty.

Cons:

1.Price is high.(for me)

2.No microphone.

3.Long time hearing can cause a little bit of ear irritation because of its design.

sennheiser cx 180 ii vs sony MDR-XB30EX:

sennheiser has less bass when compared with sony but considering overall audio quality(bass, treble, vocal etc.) sennheiser is better. But if you consider only bass(if you are bass lover), sony clearly wins. Sony has a better build quality than sennheiser. Service availability of sony is higher than sennheiser. The price of sony MDR-XB30EX is two times the price of sennheiser cx 180 street ii. Both headphones are the bests in their respective price segments.

Verdict:

If you are looking for rock solid headphone below 2000 rupees and if you are a bass lover(if bass is your high priority) then go for these headphones blindly. But if you are not too much into bass and if you are looking for headphones which offers balanced sound with better clarity below Rs.1000 price range, then  go for sennheiser cx 180 street ii. As a owner of both these headphones in their respective price segments, I have given my pros and cons. So it is up to you choose.
