Recently purchased a Sony Walkman mp3 NWZ-142F/B-2GB with FM. With 2GB capacity its more than sufficient for casual listening like while going to the gym, or while travelling.
The sound quality is good however the headphone could have been better (softer edges etc) but for Rs. 2890/- I guess its alright.
It has good equalizer settings-5 present, custom selection and bass boost. The LCD screen is very informative and visible in bright light as well.
The USB connection CAP is something you can be worried as you may forget it when you connect the player to the PC. The battery lasted for around three days with intermittent plays. The quick charge facility is a boon as its charges worth 90 mins in just 3 min of charging.
FM reception is strictly ok as the sound quality is good for normal listening but not CD quality as such, but that should not keep you away from buying this player. It has the voice recording facilty as well but I have still not used it.
Registering your player on the sony website is difficult, and I have still not manged to do so. Adding the music to your player is a breez as you can use windows media player, winamp etc or even just drag and drop. In all a good package worth buying.
