I am using Sony NWZ S543 music player for around 5-6 years. It’s sound output is not that satisfying as the brand has gained its name. Even the earphones provided with the device are not up to the mark and decreases your satisfaction more. Though it is convenient to use but is the only factor. The battery backup used to be fine but with time it started decreasing and now full charged just goes for 2 hours. The battery backup has decreased drastically.
The second disappointment with this product is that there is no option for deleting a song or video which is a major set back. This decreases the user friendly nature of this product. There are various other functions like screen rotation, audio recording, etc but due to absence of delete function, this product lags behind.
There are feature which are common in mostly every music player like adjusting the screen brightness, change language, audio equalizer, sound recording, etc. but the performance is not up to the mark.
The product is average in context of reliability as many times the files present get corrupted due to unknown errors. So not reliable as a sony product. The earphones being provided with the music player are also not satisfactory, as the sound quality is not that good and there is no bass.
The product is not value for money. Just due to the tag of SONY, the company has kept the price high. With high price expectations of customers also increase which are not fulfilled by this product. Current price of this product is around Rs. 4000 as per amazon but when I bought it was around Rs. 6000 and which was very costly at that time and the features were not as good as price.
