I also own a PS2, so lets start with the review.
Ps2 will cost you really low as compared to other console.It does not support Internet.But if you are fond of Single player games I would recommend to buy PS2.Moreover it can be jailbreaked easily with very low cost which enables you to play pirated games on your console. Moreover it has less maintainance and its accessories cost low.
If you are a single player and want to save your pocket expenses I recommend you to buy it.
