These are my experiences with PS3. Buying a PS3 is Kind of a Cool but the mistake make many people do is they buy a PS3 with Internal Memory 12GB and I am going to tell how it makes a difference.
12GB Vs 500GB
Most of the people buy the 12GB PS3 cause it’s 3 thousand much cheap then the 500GB one but when you start playing your game the ps3 requires some free internal storage to store game saves and installation files. Since it’s 12GB it can only Run One Game at a time. Let me Clear this out by an example:-
Suppose you Buy PS3 Game Called GTA5 Which is really heavy but still PS3 can run it now you completed the game and you want to play another game lets call it KillZone3 you would be not able to play it cause the game saves of previous game i.e. GTA5 is there so you need to delete all the progress you made so far hence never Buy a PS3 with 12GB. But if you bought and you want to increase it’s internal memory it’s possible you can buy an HP Hard drive that cost around 3 thousand and it will sum up to 22 thousand so it’s the same deal.
Now Comes to appearance as Sony Gives a variety of colors of PS3 you can Buy- Snow white, CharCoal Black or Red and white the finishing is really good but it gets lot of scratches if you do not handle it carefully.
PS3 is not a New console as we also have XBOX One and 360 in the market but PS3 is a lot cheaper an can run any game you call.
BEST FEATURE THAT PS3 HAS
Since PS3 also has a motion joystick capability this mean you can hold a joystick in your hand can use a sword, gun, arrows, etc. And this is the Star feature of PS3. If you Know that Xbox also comes with a similar feature called Xbox Kinect.
The Main Problem about Sony is the Poor Customer support. I send my joystick to customer care and they took a month to replace it. That was a bad experience with Sony.
But PS3 Gives the Power of Ultimate Gaming you can use it on any display it’s not necessary to have a LED or LCD you can run it o AVI too.
It’s Joystick i.e Dual Shock 3 can be also used on a PC.
But Since Sony Has announced that New AAA Games like GTA6, Watch Dog 2, etc will not be realised for PS3 and it’s production will be stopped by 2019
