Not really worth to buy

So I purchased this PS4 on April 1st, 2017 and was told that it would get processed on the 10th, and arrive on the 13th. A little long, but I could definitely wait for it. Finally having a console of my own, I also went out and bought a new CD of the game Final Fantasy. When the PS4 finally arrived after all that waiting, I was extremely happy to be able to play this game I have been waiting weeks for. But, when I booted the game, it crashed in the first 5 minutes.


Weird, I thought, must be a freak glitch. I had to manually turn off the PS4 and try again. When I started the game again, once again, it crashed. I hoped that it was just a defective update from the game or the system update so I initialized the PS4 while in safemode as directed. After waiting another couple hours ( this is now onto the next day.) the same thing happens. I cant really express how sad I was to learn that there could be something wrong with the hardware. I should’ve just purchased a new PS4.also maybe not from the seller either.


The ps4 I received had scuff marks all over the package and once the system was finally plugged it didn’t start up properly. I continuously got an error that I had to update the console to the latest version using a USB with the appropriate update version. After a long time of research it was discovered that I had to do a complete reinstall of the systems software. Once this was done the console restarted and downloaded the appropriate updates. This was highly disatisfying having to do this with a product fresh out of the package. If I didn’t have technical background this would have been even more of a nightmare to get working.


Dualshock controller drops communication in the middle of the game. And wont stop vibrating. I contacted to customer care via chat option. Since I complain couple of times for controller and PS4 issues, They block my ID. I can not reach out to them any more. I have to call them and wait for an hour listening their advertisement. I have never seen such a terrible customer service. I will never ever buy any sony product from now onwards. I wish I had bought XBOX in first place.


I signed up for Playstation Network, purchased some games on the Playstation Store, and played the first Uncharted all within less than a week. I go to log on to my account and was unable to do so. I try resetting the password using the very same email I have been using ( I even have email receipts from my purchases) but kept receiving an error indicating that my email was not valid. I end up getting with Sony’s chat support three times and each one of them simply told me that my account was banned due to a violation of terms. I can assure you I have done nothing wrong to my knowledge. I haven’t even played online with anyone. As a result, all my purchases are lost with my now banned account. They claim that there is nothing they can do. The only thing they suggest is creating a new account. Unfortunately, my purchases cannot be redeemed with the new account. I have already verified.


So please do yourself a favor, avoid this at all costs, unless you are going to completely have this system connect to the internet at all costs.
