The ps4 pro is priced too high as compared to the 2017 version of ps4. Adding to just a functionality of 4K resolution, it costs you 100$ more that its base variant.
I have used ps4 as my personal console, and tried the pro variant on my friend’s home. There is slight difference between the graphic quality while gaming. The pro variant is also bulkier, around 1.2 kg heavier than that of base variant.
Lastly, in my opinion, go for ps4 if you want a great gaming experience, but you are choosy and very specific about graphic details, then you should go for the pro version.
