We dont have a TV at home. My husband & I dont watch TV. We do like watching movies at home but we think its a waste to get a set top box for HBO and Star Movies.
So we decided to buy a nice monitor for our iBook G4 and join a movie rental place. And then came the research and narrowing down of options... Which monitor to buy??
We had a few criterias...
It must not cost above Rs. 15, 000/-
It must be LCD
It needs to look good
It needs to accept both digital and analog inputs.
Thus began our research journey and we ended with a SONY SDM E76D.
Its a beauty to look at and graces our computer table very nicely. The sliding height adjustment is very cool and the no visible buttons concept is pretty good too.
The controls are very easy to use. Very intuitive. Installation was very easy. Just plugged it in and it started working.
Its very clear and using the laptop is such a pleasure with this external monitor. The colours are brilliant.
I would certainly suggest this to anyone looking for a 17" monitor.
