Sony’s Vaio series is one of the most successful series in laptop category. This computer is priced at Rs.58, 000 however you can get it cheaper on some online markets. Under the cover is has an Intel Centrino 2 Processor Tech, Intel Core 2 Duo Processor P8600 with 2.40 GHz which is fairly reasonable for the price tag. In terms of memory however it has only 2 GB of RAM reinstalled but can be expanded to 4GB max, at least 3GB was expected for 58k price. Total storage capacity is 250GB and can be expanded as well to 500Gb max. It comes with an optical disk drive. In terms of usage, this machine is very easy to use with Windows Vista Business 32Bit. Visa does not require much of RAM so multiple applications can be used at a time. The keyboard feels good with quite a feedback. A 14.1" wide screen with a resolution of 1280X800 makes things clear and easier to access. Quality of the build feels good not premium but the plastic doesn’t feels cheap. Overall, it is a good machine for office and business work rather than gaming and video editing. After sales service, customer service and support is as always brilliant as they respond to your problems and issues very quickly.
