When you hear the name Sony, a lot of expectations are raised into your mind. But the truth is they always let you down. Don’t get me wrong, the features and sparkles are far better than offered by other brands but when talking about the life of the handset, it really is disappointing. Sony Xperia c4 is the second mobile I bought of the said brand. Both the phones where amazing in the first few months but problem started occurring later on. I bought this phone back in July 2015.
It was the perfect specification, build, looks etc. But after using if for about 4 months the display started malfunctioning. Even if I didn’t touch the phone it was opening apps, making calls etc in general it went nuts. I took it to an authorized service center and they replaced the display screen. Everything went normal for another 6 months and suddenly one day it won’t get switched on. No matter how much I tried I could only keep it on for 15 minutes maximum in one go.
After that it switches off automatically. I took it to the service center and they asked me to change the mother board which will cost me 14k. So I decided to change the phone and bought a new one. The same thing happened to one of my friends that too just after the warranty period.
In conclusion if are okay with a phone that has the lifespan same as the warranty period, go for Sony.
