I Think I Made The Greatest Mistake By PURCHASING SONY MOBILE. I bought Xperia ION mobile on 21st Feb13 and facing the problem with it from the very next day. I brought the mobile 3 times to Service Center. After 5-8 consecutive calls (normal), the phone stops showing anymore Incoming Call alerts. I have to restart or dial any phone number to fix the problem temporarily.

I’m highly disappointed and shocked at the service I’m getting from Xperia Authorized Service Center, Noida, UP (Ambe Electronics) & Customer Care false assurance. I need money back (Full Refund) or just replace the phone with new working one.
I have submitted my mobile on 2nd May’13 & again on 9th May13 on Noida Based Sony Xperia Authorized Service Center, Job Id-W113050900069.
Every time I contacted Sony Xperia Customer Care or visited Sony Xperia Service Center, I got a new delivery date. Both service station and customer care executives are making me fool by providing wrong commitments and false promises. I dont see any progress and they are not up to their commitment and promises. Every time I go there, they tell me to wait for another few days. But How Long ? and Why ? Either Sony employees are not capable of fixing minute issues like these or they’re just shunning away from their responsibilities.
First I waited for proper support, then waited until the motherboard available (7-12 days), then waited for shipment delay (12-15 days), then waited for the unit arrives (15-20 days). But what I found at last??? Sony has sent the faulty motherboard after 20 days of waiting… So why? Why should I wait for the next unit arrivals?
All this Xperia ION phone has brought me is misery. All I did was waste my money on this worthless product. Sony is neither providing a fault free product, proper service nor are they replacing the phone.
I will never ever going to buy another Sony Xperia one or suggest someone to buy.
Now after these many days I feel that my handset even after replacing the part will operate as normal, as I have read so many issues for the particular Xperia model.
