I have always been a Sony fan. Got my Sony Xperia Aqua Dual in the month of January 2016. The slick design is impressive especially that the classy black rear side. I had very high expectations from Sony most of which are duly fulfilled.
Upsides:
The video quality is amazing if you are a fan of TV series and movies.
The sound quality is outstanding with Sony earphones .
The touch is feathery and smooth.
It has Android lollipop as its Android OS up-gradable to Mash mellow Although there were no direct updates on the device. I had to update it using Sony PC companion.
I love the camera quality. The 5 MP front camera clicks good quality selfies although I do wish if it could have a flash on the front side. The rear camera is 13 MP and clicks impressive photos even in low light.
I basically for internet surfing. Its quite handy and has been my companion for all my work.
Its waterproof as per the claims of Sony. I never washed it though. It got wet in the rain several times and survived through it quite fine.
I use the speaker mode while calling quite often, the clarity of sound is commendable.
It fell several times from my hand, although it has some scratches, Its completely fine. Showed no signs of damage.
Downsides:
One of the biggest problem with this is that it heats up at the back side often. Especially while using camera.
Requires charging twice a day. I use it for most part of the day. The battery life could have been better. It takes around two hours to charge.
The camera is amazing but the camera app sucks.
Sony has the best sound quality and its known for it but the phone speakers are average, the bass is pretty low.
Its quite expensive. I bought it because I wanted a reliable, durable smartphone.
