Bought this phone on 1 Aug 15 and Flipkart delivered it promptly as a gift for family member. Then within a month the phone started giving us problem Bluetooth stopped working, phone use to hang while call came and charging problem.
Now all hell broke loose when we tried to seek help, when we called Flipkart they said if you would have called within a month from invoice date then only we would have helped you. Then we gave the phone to Sony Service Centre – Metal Tech – Anderi, Mumbai on 20 Sep 14.
Since then we have made numerous calls to service center, written email but nothing happened. We are told different things whenever we call, they say you will get a refurbished cell which means a used set which was given back to company for repair.
Other time we are told you will get the same set, but till today no one has helped. When I read comments other people also are facing same appalling service problem, don’t buy this phone if it malfunctions then you got be lucky to get help. I have written several emails to customer service, posted feedback on their FB page, tagged them in my status on my FB page mentioning about their customer service but nothing helped. I will compare then to Chinese phones as if you get a good piece it will last long but if it malfunctions nothing much can be done, same case with the big company like Sony.
