The WR-CA620X, or better known as sony 620 is one of the most commonly used sony car cassette players from the Xplod series. As mentioned in the title, it’s an allrounder ’cos it has ample power rating, good looks and decent lifetime. Alpine is the best among car radio but they lose out completely in the looks department!!!!But there’s nothing that can beat an alpine! Pioneer is like a jack of all trades, it’s pretty ok! Not very reliable as far as life is concerned. Sony is a big brand name and this product lives up to its brand reputation. No only major drawback is that it lacks a MOSFET amplifier( for a lay man, it’s a type of amplifier that provides high power in a continuous flow at loud volumes, giving more clarity at defeaning levels) used in pioneer and alpine systems. It uses a normal amp of rating 50watt x 4 channels. But this power is adequate to make people turn heads! or rather cover their heads(ears)!!! It has a very beautiful display, combining colors like red, white and black!!! looks awesome and fiery!! Another drawback is that it has only one pre-out i.e. you can fit only one amp. If you need more than one amp, you need to buy additional bridging equipment. But still, I would recommend this product, if it’s still available..else you can settle for the XR-CA640X or XR-CA660X. They’re better sets with slightly higher power-52watts x 4channels.
