Well, this being my first review I dont want to overdo it. Let me get started right away.
To be frank I never had any expectations from this movie or its cast when I walked into the theatre. I was so freaking bored that I had to land up there. Parthiban who did a marvellous job in ’’Azhagi’’ fails to evoke any interest, in this movie. Well again someone might say that he is not the hero. Agreed. I started with him cuz the hero Vignesh was everything but the hero. His hysterical yells and head-twisting simply made him look like a big fat clown. I dont want to discuss much about the heroine. She was just a time wasting tactic put to bad use.
Now getting to the the story, was there any at all in the first place? Vignesh falls in love with this girl ( whose name I dont really remember) and she reciprocates his feelings. And there starts the love journey and after the usual dose of songs and romance we come to a point where the heroine suggests that they meet after one year to see if their feelings for each other is simply infatuation or if it is true love. Vignesh who hesitates initially finally agrees.
At the end of the year Vignesh who desperately wants to meet her, to his anguish and horror finds out that she is married to someone else and that she has moved to trichy. This guy happens to be Parthiban who also happens to be a local dada there in Trichy. Vignesh wants to take revenge by killing her, the motive for which isint clear either. I havent heard of any love-lost guy trying to seek revenge.
A few scenes follow where the tension builds up and the director probably wanted people to expect a Vignesh-Parthiban clash, but I am sad to say that I was just waiting for the movie to get over. Vignesh who manages to track down the heroine tries to shoot her down but Parthiban intervenes and sets things right by telling him about how he got to marry her. We get to know that the heroine was so in love with Vignesh that she wasnt really paying attention to the changing traffic signals and meets with an accident after which she becomes mentally disordered and forgets everything about her love life. Parthiban then marries her after feeling sorry for her (this made me want to puke....what shit) .Vignesh realizes his mistake and apologizes and the story is over. Phew I got so bored while writing this review cuz it brought back unpleasant memories of the experience I had while watching this movie. There am done with my first review. Hope I get something else good to talk about in my next review.
