Well I dont have a issue with SOTC tours per say but here, like everyone even I had to deal with them while pre-tour booking for 3 of us. We visited SOTC for a dubai trade fair tour and wanted to go and paid them the money(via cheque) saying that we will confirm about the dates and tour details in 3-4 days and only then they should deposit the cheque which they agreed, to our surprise they deposited the cheque into their account without our confirmation.
At that time they said they will look at what could be done now its been 2 years since they deposited the cheques and yet not have refunded our money to us. Since last one month they are claiming that they have already provided us the refund. When I claim to provie us with the details they are unable to provide any.
I have been in touch with a guy from SOTC and he always tells us that he will get me the details but hasnt come back until now. I agree that we shouldnt have given them the cheque but we gave them in good faith as we stay at a place which very far away from their Mumbai office. I hope someone from the company looks at this review and takes some action in this regard. Else I think it would be a good eyeopener for everyone to do their due deligence before bookign any tour with sotc(kouni) which most of us generally do.
