I have had a fairly bad experience with SOTC very recently. I opted for them as they give a lot of advertisments and sound like big travel agents.
Pros:
1.) Wide range of destinations available.
2.)Various hotel options. You can choose different options.
Cons:
Here starts the BIG problem
1.) Their staff has very low knowledge of the destinations they offer. They are clueless about the visa formalities. They hide information and will tell you the fine prints very late, mostly after you have some payments.
2.)Their more of payments are very interesting, they accept cash for some transactions and card for some. Incase you have to make rupee payment like air travel, they will accept cash or card, but if this is for dollors then they dont accept card but only cash. And the best part is they will not tell you all this in advance.
3.)Their staff also does google seach and tell you the information that you can find yourself on the net.
Things to keep in mind if dealing with SOTC:
1.) Be very clear about the visa formalities for the country you visit. There are chances that you may need to visit the consulate for a visa and you would be told that you dont need to.
2.) Suggest to look for information about the country you are visiting on your own and not to rely on SOTC for the same, as it may not be accurate.
3.) Never try customized tours with SOTC.
