We were on the summer budget- best of swiss tour from 28th may - 3rd june. We had opted and pre paid for optional tour to matterhorn. On the day of the tour it was cancelled because only 6 people, including us, wanted to go there. The tour manager promised and convinced us that we will get our money back once we reach India. Since we didnt want to miss it, we spent money and went to see it anyway. So we ended up spending double the amount for one place. When we wrote to sotc employees and manager about the refund they replied "we will check and revert if there will be any refund applicable". It should have been very smooth acceptance and refund from their side since they cancelled the optional tour which we had already paid for and not a small amount on top of that
If this is how SOTC is going to make money out of their customers, by cheating them, I wonder how long will they survive?
Though they owe us an apology and refund but expecting and apology from sotcs rude and useless employees will be too much to ask for so Waiting only for our refund.
The example of their rudeness to customers is that While booking the tour their employe verbally committed to us that though we are doing our own tickets we will be given airport transfers, but little did we know that it was like presenting a case in supreme court and we had to take and keep all the proofs to get the services. On raising the matter, they said, " you can do anything you want , but you will not get the transfers".
Im sincerely worried for my hard earned money go wasted like this and expecting a refund of the day tour which got cancelled.
