Soul Punjab restaurant looks not crowded in a
place where normally all restaurants are full. That is the first warning to
avoid it. When you walk in, the second warning is the dingy ambience.choose
to ignore it? Staff who are not warm and who themselves do not understand the
menu is your third warning.
After this you order food, in this so called
Asli Punjabi restaurant, you are in for big trouble: Food was as average as it
can get - you could have it better in an ordinary dhaba. There is nothing
Punjabi - its a very average North Indian Meal with absolutely no touch of
Punjab except the names in the menu(Patiala Dhaniya Murg, Amristari
Machli.). Service was also poor to average.
Overall, a disappointing experience. The
upsides are that the cocktails and mocktails are reasonably priced, they are
located in M Block market(good location) they are not crowded(as you know
why). To boot, three of the four people who went with me had stomach cramps and
problems. I looked up the Times Food guide just out of curiousity - it read
like this " No No No." as the beginning of the review. My respect
for this guide went up. So guys - you have two reviews in one. You ofcourse
have very good other options in M Block market - Not Just Paranthas, Ruby
Tuesday, etc. Go there pls.
