I have been to this restaurant 4 times in the past 4 times (twice each for dinner and lunch). Dinner is a-la-carte and lunch is buffet. My first experience (dinner) was amazing - could not believe there was a (only) vegetarian restaurant with this class and style.
The subsequent visits made me look at it from a non-emotional view! I have maintained a very good opinion (reduced from over whelming) but a few points of choice (or less of).
I believe this one is not a place for twice-a-week or even once-a-week visits due to having lesser varieties and being little expensive (probably 15-20% more). Fine for once in a month visit.
Positives: -
1) Taste is good - especially the podi idlis, ulli theeyal, Gunti venakkai, and Sajjige roti. Exception - first time we had pal-pradhaman that was pathetic(was like having a burnt one in a peanut session)!!..
2) Ambience - cool and tranquil - good air circulation (as its open at sides)
3) Service - no issues, staff are well trained, warm and professional
4) Lunch and breakfast buffet dont seem too expensive and feel value for money
I have not been to the other branches of southindies (guess they are in Koramangala and Indiranagar). Heard there is non-veg opions there. So would provide more reviews after visiting those.
